	Supporting Tree Planting Reduce your carbon footprint and plant a tree. Every year at Ballymacrown Homestead we try to plant at least 50 trees. To help us achieve our goal we offer our guests a free young sapling to take home and plant. The choice for 2012 includes: Paper Birch, Bird Cherry, Elder, Crab Apple or Guelder Rose. The trees were chosen for the diversity of insects and birds they will support.
